New stadium access plans for matchdays

Supporters visiting Celtic Park for matchdays are advised that a new stadium access plan is now in place for those in the Lisbon Lions stand, with the introduction of new external stairways leading to Dalriada Street. Until now, fans leaving the stadium via the Lisbon Lions stand would turn either right or left and proceed off the stadium footprint while negotiating their way through oncoming supporters. We believe the introduction of additional external stairs will make it easier, allowing fans a more convenient and streamlined way out. SECTIONS 115-117, 418 & 419 The introduction of these new stairs means supporters in sections 115-117, 418 and 419 will now find their exit route straight ahead of them instead of having to turn into oncoming pedestrian traffic. Once you make your way down to Dalriada Street, you will then be able to turn left or right and make your way home as normal. SECTIONS 110-114 & 411-417 As a result of this new addition, supporters in sections 110-114 and 411-417 who exit the stadium further up towards the North East corner and those leaving from the East Side of the North Stand will be required to make their way east along Janefield St to either Dalriada Street or Springfield Road, at which point they will be free to move in either direction. This also means that supporters making their way around towards the Lisbon Lions Stand from the main stand will be directed down Kinloch Street and onto either Dalriada Street or London Road. We believe this simplified exit strategy will aide significantly in supporters’ egress and dispersal from the stadium at its busiest period. TURNSTILES 55-61 We also recommend if you are entering the stadium via turnstiles 55-61 you use the new stairs provided. This is because for matches where there is a significant away support, this will be your only point of access to these turnstiles. To aid your entry and make it as efficient as possible, a serpentine queuing system will be in place.Upcoming FixturesCeltic Vs. Slovan Bratislava – Sun, Sep 9th 2024, 14:00
