The Celts are back in domestic action this weekend (Sunday) after a positive result away to Atalanta on Wednesday night in the UCL. The Scottish champions put in a resilient performance against last season’s Europa League winners in Bergamo and left Italy with a hard-earned point after a 0-0 draw. One player who has been in impressive form since the start of the season is winger Nicolas Kühn, who played his part in Wednesday’s battling performance in Europe, and speaking to the media ahead of Sunday’s SPFL match against Motherwell, Kühn reflected on what was a good night in the Champions League for the Bhoys. “A point over there was really good,” he said. “We showed that we learned from the Dortmund game. “We were much better, we were compact as a team and from there, we’ll keep going. “We’re used to having the ball a lot, that’s what we normally do, so for us it was more difficult to be compact and defend more than usual, but we did a great job. ‘We had to show that we can defend much better than we did against Dortmund and we did.’ “The manager said after the game, now we have to focus and stay calm on the ball when we have it. “I think it was possible to create more chances and maybe get more than just a point.”The champions are in the midst of a busy period of games, with Motherwell at Fir Park the next opponents for Brendan Rodgers’ men. Looking ahead to Sunday’s match and the Hoops’ hectic schedule, Kühn revealed that the winning mentality of the team is what keeps them focused on one game at a time. On the busy fixture list and Sunday’s match, he added: “You train less and you have less days to recover, but for us it can also be good to show what we can do and get the points. “We have to deliver in this busy period and that’s what we have to do. “It’s always nice to play games, we just focus on each game that comes. “Sunday will be a different type of game to Thursday. It was a good point but now our focus is on Motherwell. “Like a lot of the games in the league, we have to create a lot of chances. We’ll have the ball and we need to take our chances and be better than we were against Atalanta.”More on the match Training Gallery: Motherwell v Celtic –
