A great goal followed by possibly an even better assist kept up the numbers for midfielder Paulo Bernardo, but the main numbers that made everybody connected with the club happy were the six and the zero in the middle of the scoreline. The 6-0 win over St Johnstone featured half-a-dozen fantastic goals that came from a glittering performance from the Celts as they shone from back to front, and the Portuguese Celt was delighted with the display. He said: “It was a nice game, a nice result. We came here with the objective of the three points, and we got the three points and had a wonderful game.”Much has been made of the Celts converting pre-season training and friendlies into a long-running exercise of how to win very competitive game, but blood, sweat and tears have gone into producing this run of games, they don’t just get off the team bus and turn on the style. Bernardo said: “It’s a lot of hours of hard work. We started very well and we want to keep going, so we do our max effort in training to keep in the games, and that’s what motivates us. “It’s always good when we help the team with numbers, so I’m really happy. I feel confident and I’ll keep working.” Next on the agenda, though, is the trip to Dortmund and a different manner of test from Borussia in the UEFA Champions League. The Celt said: “It’s the Champions League, so it will be a great game for us, a great experience and we will do our best to get a great result too.”FixturesSt. Johnstone Vs.
