Oh dear, apparently, they’ve had the austerity chat at Sevco. It is one thing to walk into a meeting hoping for the £15m budget and willing to accept £10m. It is quite another to walk out with zilch. The thing is, he THOUGHT that he had a budget. Bless him. Consequently, he went into the sit-down armed with a couple of likely targets to strengthen the squad in January.
