Celtic booked their place in the last eight of the Premier Sports Cup with an impressive 4-1 victory at home to Falkirk on Friday night. After Daizen Maeda gave the Hoops a 1-0 lead in the first-half, Alistair Johnston doubled that lead after the break with a superb left-foot finish on a night when he was deservedly named Man of the Match for his performance. And defender Dane Murray headed home his first goal for the Hoops just hours after putting pen to paper on a new deal which will see him remain at the club until June 2028. Both players spoke to Celtic TV after the game.MORE ON THE MATCH Stylish Celtic deliver emphatic cup win over Falkirk – match report Brendan Rodgers delighted with Friday night victory under the lights at Paradise –
