It was a five-star performance from Celtic FC Women on Sunday afternoon, as they ran out 5-0 winners over Hamilton Accies. With another impressive performance, it was the ideal way for the Ghirls to seal all three points in their first home match of the campaign. The goals were spread throughout the Hoops squad, with five different scorers getting their name on the scoresheet at New Douglas Park. Last season’s top goalscorer, Saoirse Noonan got her tally for the season underway, opening the scoring in the match with a glancing header. Whilst it was a special moment for Academy youngster, Darra Dawson as the teenager scored her first senior goal in just her fourth appearance for the Celts.
