‘Rangers need Scottish backbone!’ | Bob Malcolm on Barry Ferguson as boss and Ibrox mentality

Former Rangers player Bob Malcolm spoke with Blair Malloy about a dream week for Barry Ferguson as Gers boss after dumped Fenerbahce out of the Europa League and winning an Old Firm game at Celtic Park for the first time in five years Malcolm says ‘why not?’ to the prospect of Barry Ferguson as Rangers manager on a full time basis if he continues to his winning streak. Having been Ferguson assistant manager at Alloa and Clyde he also takes us inside the practices of the man in the Ibrox dugout. He also believes that mentality is more important than ability when it comes to being a Rangers players and that it is pivotal that Rangers maintain a Scottish backbone to the team if they are to be successful.
