Celtic picked up another three points on the road last night (Wednesday) with a brilliant win away at Pittodrie against an Aberdeen side who have been in flawless form at home all season. The weather conditions in the north-east were horrendous, with gale-force winds and driving rain making a difficult match even more challenging. However, an excellent goal from Reo Hatate after a perfectly-weighted ball from Greg Taylor settled the match in Celtic’s favour. The champions now have a seven-point lead at the top of the Premiership table, and with a game in hand, and speaking after the game, Reo Hatate expressed his joy at being the difference-maker on the night. He also gave a nod to the Celtic faithful who braved the conditions to spur the team on to victory at Pittodrie. “I’m happy to score the goal,” he said. “It was a difficult game because of the bad weather, and it was an away game, so it was an important win for us. “I score goals for the team, but the important thing is to win the game. “The supporters always sing my song, whether I score or I don’t score. So I’m happy to play here for them.” Watch Reo’s full post-match interview below.FixturesAberdeen Vs. Celtic – Wed, Dec 4th 2024, 20:00
