Downey, who performed on the Celtic Park pitch ahead of the Hoops’ UCL match against Lazio in 2023, looks ahead to her performance at Glastonbury this weekend as well as the release of her debut album later this year. The Bellshill-born singer has worked with and performed alongside former frontman of The Housemartins and The Beautiful South, Paul Heaton for the last few years and has taken to the main stage at Glastonbury, the Isle of Wight Festival and TRSNMT as well as joining Heaton on his UK tour last winter, and she shares some incredible stories from those gigs in this podcast episode.
