This is the Official Celtic FC Podcast, and, on this episode, Matthew Campbell is joined by Scottish singer-songwriter and Celtic supporter, Rianne Downey. Downey, who performed on the Celtic Park pitch ahead of the Hoops’ UCL match against Lazio in 2023, looks ahead to her performance at Glastonbury this weekend as well as the release of her debut album later this year. The Bellshill-born singer has worked with and performed alongside former frontman of The Housemartins and The Beautiful South, Paul Heaton for the last few years and has taken to the main stage at Glastonbury, the Isle of Wight Festival and TRSNMT as well as joining Heaton on his UK tour last winter, and she shares some incredible stories from those gigs in this podcast episode. Downey also speaks about her work supporting Texas on their recent tour and she reveals what it was like to record her debut album at the iconic Bear Creek Studio in Seattle.DOWNLOAD & LISTEN NOW Listen on the go on your phone or tablet using the links below: ?
