With the Green Brigade back in situ and a full Celtic Park set to roar on the boys it was all staged for an afternoon of entertainment and free flowing football. Unfortunately though, that never materialised, despite Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain opening the scoring as early as the 15th minute, but the Hoops held on and at this stage of the campaign, that’s all that mattered. The other huge bonus on the day was Arne Engels who added some much needed energy to the engine room following his second half introduction.
