Fans at loggerheads with the club. Tension thick in the air. Anxiety over what the future holds. It could easily describe events of the last few months – but this time we’re talking about Celtic in the early 90s, when the club lurched from one crisis to the next in what was, frankly, an existential struggle for survival at Celtic Park. Thankfully, Fergus McCann and others stepped up during those turbulent years, and in ‘And If You Know The History? ‘ (written by Jim Orr and starring Des McLean) that story is retold with a quirky, compelling twist. Jim and Des joined us in the studio this week to talk about the show’s return and to draw parallels between those dark days and the current turmoil unfolding at Celtic. It made for an entertaining session – and a glimpse of what you can expect if you’re lucky enough to get tickets for next year’s run. 🎟️ ‘And If You Know The History?’ runs from 27th – 29th August 2026 at the Pavillion Theatre and tickets can be purchased now at the link below. 🔗
