Celtic defender, Liam Scales, has his eyes on a Treble – and a quick-fire one at that. Not the normal season-long fight for three trophies, but for three wins in three different competitions over what is going to be a busy week or so for the Hoops. A trip to Belgrade to take on Red Star in the UEFA Europa League, plus welcoming Hibernian to Celtic Park in the SPFL are just around the corner, but first up is the short trip to Firhill to take on Partick Thistle in the League Cup this Sunday. It’s not only first up, but it’s also a first game at Firhill for the Irishman despite four years in Scottish football. He said: “I’m really looking forward to it. ‘I haven’t played there yet so it will be a new experience for me, but it’s obviously the quarter-final of a cup competition so we’re really looking forward to that.’ The opportunity of a place in the semi-finals is up for grabs in the game, with a 4-1 win over Falkirk in the last round being one of eight games so far this season in which the Celts have yet to taste defeat. However, drawn games have also impacted on the season so far, and the defender said: “It’s been a bit mixed. “We were a little bit unsettled, we obviously wanted to qualify for the Champions League and that didn’t happen,“But we have been solid defensively and that’s a real positive. And now that we’re settled, we’ve got all our players in and we’re happy where we are. “We deserved to win last weekend, and we want to keep that form going into the next couple of games. “We’ve got three competitions coming up in this one week. We’ve got the League Cup, the Europa League and the league. ‘So it’s a great chance to go and win these three games in every competition that we’re in at the moment.’ “So that’s obviously the plan, that’s always the plan here “We’re ready now, there’s no more ins and outs, and we’re going to have to crack on now and perform as well as we can.” And on his own personal contribution to Celtic’s unbeaten run which has seen the loss of only two goals in those eight games and included stints at left-back when required, he added: “It’s good to be playing. Every player wants to be playing as much as they can. “I feel like I’ve found a rhythm as well, I feel fit and I feel good, so I’m enjoying it.” Watch the full video to hear Liam on Internationals Playing at left-back The Kilmarnock game Hand-ball rules in the box More on the game Training Gallery: Celtic v Partick Thistle Get all the latest Celtic updates on our: Official Match Centre Celtic FC Quiz: Partick Thistle v Celtic Upcoming FixturesPartick Thistle Vs.
