THIS WEEK on the 16th of December Tommy Burns would have been 68 years of age. His untimely death 16 years ago left a massive gap in the hearts of the Celtic family, but his legacy, his character and his status is the eyes of the Celtic support lives on. Tommy Burns was a Celtic player, a Celtic coach, and a Celtic manager, but most of all he was a Celtic fan, and for him that was the constant that burned brightly throughout his life. Close friend and Scottish Football journalist Hugh Keevins joined us in the studio this week to discuss the biography that he co-wrote with Tommy back in 1989, which now – an incredible 35 years later – has been re-released, to allow a whole new generation of fans to enjoy the story of one of Celtic’s greatest sons. “Twists & Turns” is that story and is the tale of a man who considered himself a supporter who just got lucky. It couldn’t have been further from the truth, and as it turned out, we were the lucky ones. 🎙️ Join Tino as he sits with Hugh Keevins to reflect on the story of a true Celtic hero. ========================= MORE WAYS TO ENJOY THE CELTIC EXCHANGE THIS SEASON 🍀 1.
