You’ll Never Sing Alone: Berryhill Primary Choir pitch perfect for Tommy Gemmell

Celtic were delighted to welcome some very special guests to Celtic Park yesterday as young people from Berryhill Primary School in Craigneuk visited the stadium. The children recently played a starring, singing role at the unveiling of the fantastic Tommy Gemmell statue in the town when they performed to a delighted audience and the club had invited the group to come and see Celtic Park, the place where Tommy will always be so respected and adored.   Accompanied by Martin McCrum and Mary Gemmell, who were both instrumental in delivering the wonderful tribute to Lisbon Lion Tommy at Craigneuk, as well as school staff, the young people from Berryhill were treated to a special tour of Celtic Park to see the club for real.    With some brilliant questions on Tommy and Celtic, the children enjoyed a great day at Celtic Park, learning even more about Tommy’s achievements and the wonderful legacy he has left. The kids even shared some of their fantastic singing.   We are hoping that the children from Berryhill will be able to return to Celtic Park on a matchday in the very near future and perform in front of our supporters, when again we can pay tribute to the great Tommy Gemmell.
