From Celtic FC: Celtic signed the highly-rated South Korean player, Hyunjun Yang, on a five-year deal, in July 2023.
The 21-year-old attacker, who was the K League Young Player of the Year in 2022, signed from Gangwon FC, joining Korean striker Hyeongyu Oh, at Celtic Park.
Having played over 60 matches for Gangwon, scoring 9 times, Yang has been capped several times by the South Korean under-23 national team.
Brendan Rodgers said: “We’re delighted to bring Yang to the club and I’m sure he‘s going to be another great addition to the squad.”
“He’s a player that we’ve looked at closely and who we think will further enhance our attacking options which, of course, already include his fellow countryman Oh.”
Yang said: “This is a move that I wanted to make and so it is great to be here in Scotland now as a Celtic player.”
