Richard King’s 99th minute header earned St Mirren a point against Aberdeen as the two sides shared the spoils in a remarkable six-goal thriller at Pittodrie. After a goalless first half the game sprung into life when Marcus Fraser put the visitors ahead from the penalty spot. Aberdeen responded with two goals in three minutes from Dante Polvara and Marko Lazetic, before Jonay Ayunga capitalised on an error form Jack Milne to make it 2-2. Aberdeen thought they had won the game when Lazetic scored his second, and the Dons’ third, but in a frantic finish to the game King nodded home from fellow substitute Conor McMenamin’s cross to make it honours even at full time.
