John McGlynn’s side secured a fully deserved three points to confirm a top-six finish in their return season to the top flight. The visitors made a fast start, taking the lead after just three minutes when Barney Stewart headed in Calvin Miller’s free-kick. Motherwell responded through Elliot Watt, whose excellent strike snuck through the gloves of Scott Bain. Ben Broggio restored the visitors’ advantage just before the break following a defensive error, and Miller later added a penalty to extend the lead. Tawanda Maswanhise grabbed a late consolation for Motherwell, who have now lost three of their last four matches.
