The home side raced into an early lead thanks to a Youssef Chermiti double, including an incredible overhead kick. Kieran Tierney pulled one back for the visitors before an on-field review awarded Celtic a late penalty. Jack Butland saved before Reo Hatate bundled in the rebound.
