Rangers maintained the pressure on leaders Hearts, and leapfrogged Celtic into second place in the William Hill Premiership, with a commanding 4-1 win over Aberdeen at Ibrox. Goals from Tochi Chukwuani, Mikey Moore, Nicolas Raskin and James Tavernier secured all three points, and boosted the home side’s goal difference, as they remain 3 points behind Hearts. Dennis Geiger’s goal for Aberdeen was their first away from Pittodrie in 2026, but wasn’t enough for the Dons who now sit just 3 points clear of Kilmarnock in the relegation play-off spot.
